• How does it work?
• All you need is to have high speed internet. It works with WIFI or with wired connection.
• Once you turn the radio on, the Global Net Radio searches for the networks available, same way the computer does and it will display all the internet networks in your area, if your network requires a key, you will type it (using the volumen button you can scroll through letters and numbers).
• Once you are connected to the internet wirelessly, the Global Radio give you 2 options to search for the stations: GENRE and LOCATION. All genres will be listed in a vertical menu:country, talk shows, hiphop, jazz , new era, news, etc and if location is chosen it will list all the countries in alphabetical order.
• Once you make your choice the Global Net Radio searches for all the stations available in that category and it will display their names.
• When you choose the radio station you want to listen to, you click on select and it will take 5-10 seconds to do the buffering and voila! you will be listening to the station.
• Please note that if the Radio is turned off and then turned on, it will remember that radio station and the network chosen . There is an option to memorize your 3 favorite stations. At anytime you can change them by going to stations and browsing again by genrey or nationality
• The sound of the Global Net Radio is very clear but if you want even more sound, you can always plug yous speakers using the 3.5mm jack in (icon of headphones at the front of the unit)
• As long as you have a modem you will be able to have Internet Radio, PC is not required!
• If you do not use WIFI, simply connect the radio using your ethernet cable , same way you connect your computer to the modem, in this case you connect your radio to the modem or to your router
