Must the web browser on my computer be open to the radio station in order for the Sono to work?

No, you can choose the radio station from the Sono, you can even memorize your 6 favorite internet stations. You remain in control with volume, mute, forward/back, stop & pause buttons and six presets that allow you to easily switch stations or playlists. A scrolling LCD also keeps you informed about the music you are listening to.


What is the estimated battery life of the unit?

Operation Time Approx 30 hours continuous play at mid volume on one set of alkaline batteries


What is the expected maximum distance between the transmitter and the receiver?

The user simply plugs in to the free USB socket and allows the listener a range of up to 300 ft


Can I use the SONo to listen to my mp3 music on my computer?

Yes, you can listen to all your audio files on the SONO: CDs, Mp3s.


Can I see the title of the song on the LCD display if I listen to my mp3 music

Yes, the name of the song will be displayed as in a regular mp3 player


Can I listen to regular radio stations

Yes, The SONO can also just be used as a FM radio set and has been deliberately designed to look and feel like a normal radio


Do I have to be connected to the internet to listen to Internet Radio Stations?

Yes, you have to be connected. If you are offline could play back any songs on the computer's hard drive.
